Sabiha Mahmoud is a British born photographer, from the Kyhber Pakhtunkhwa region. Reported from Western Sahara, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Afghanistan, Turkey, Gaza, Kenya, Lebanon, Egypt and Central African Republic. She has documented and had work published in various news outlets: Corbis, Huffington Post, Sky News, Frontiere News and Sixteen Minutes to Palestine. Blogged at Muslim Girl. Delivered a talk on documenting through photography organised by Some Cities at the MAC art gallery. Has organised workshops and given training to those who wish to take control of their own narrative through photojournalism. She regularly plans and partakes in lone performance art as a form of activism in public spaces to engage her audience to the issues across the globe.
